Activating and Deactivating Two-Wire Upper Floater Connection:

The Tamam device comes with the default setting for connecting the upper floater with three wires. If you wish to connect it with two wires, press the green button while powering on the Tamam device. When doing so, the middle and right LEDs (Tamam device alert lights) will light up along with a continuous alarm sound.

To cancel the two-wire upper floater connection mode, press the green button while powering on the Tamam device. In this case, only the middle LED (Tamam device alert lights) will light up with a continuous alarm sound.

Setup:

After powering on the Tamam device, a continuous sound will be heard for two seconds, after which the pump will activate. After approximately one minute, the signal to enter the setup mode will appear, indicated by the left, middle, and right LEDs (Tamam device alert lights) in sequence, along with an intermittent sound. This signal will last for about thirty seconds. If you want to enter the system setup mode, press the green button for two seconds during this thirty-second window. The Tamam device will then complete the setup process, and the previous signal will disappear, followed by the system configuration completion signal, indicated by all three LEDs (Tamam device alert lights) lighting up together with a continuous sound for two seconds. This process may be needed in case of system changes, such as replacing or repairing the pump.

Muting Alerts and Cancelling Certain Alerts:

If an alert appears on the Tamam device, it is possible to mute the alert sound by pressing the green button for no more than 5 seconds. The sound will be muted, but the LEDs (Tamam device alert lights) will continue to indicate the fault until it is resolved or the Tamam device is restarted.

To force the Tamam device to dismiss the fault, press the green button for at least 14 seconds. This will force the Tamam device to resume operation. Note that fault cancellation does not apply to issues such as an empty ground tank or floater malfunctions, as the Tamam device will automatically resume operation once the issue is resolved.

Switching Between Surface Pump and Submersible Pump:

The Tamam device is set by default to operate with a surface pump. To configure the Tamam device for operation with a submersible pump, press the red button while powering on the Tamam device. The middle and left LEDs (Tamam device alert lights) will light up along with a continuous alarm sound.

To reset the Tamam device for surface pump operation, press the red button while powering on the Tamam device. In this case, only the middle LED (Tamam device alert lights) will light up with a continuous alarm sound.

Manual or Emergency Operation Activation and Deactivation:

The Tamam device is designed to operate automatically without the need for manual intervention. However, there are cases where manual pump activation is necessary. In such cases, the user is responsible for monitoring any errors or issues resulting from this operation, not the Tamam device. Manual operation may be required in rare cases, such as:

  • The need to water the garden.
  • A malfunction that does not involve the pump, but there is an urgent need for water.

To manually activate the pump, press the red button for two seconds while the Tamam device is running. The three LEDs (Tamam device alert lights) will light up in sequence without sound, indicating manual operation, and will remain lit until the Tamam device is returned to automatic control.

To return the Tamam device to automatic control, press the red button for two seconds while the Tamam device is in manual operation mode, and the lights will turn off.

Activating and Deactivating Two-Wire Upper Floater Connection with Switching Between Normal and Submersible Pump:

The Tamam device comes with the default setting of a three-wire upper floater connection and operation with a surface pump. If you wish to connect the upper floater with two wires and configure the Tamam device for a submersible pump, press both the green and red buttons together while powering on the Tamam device. The middle, right, and left LEDs (Tamam device alert lights) will light up along with a continuous alarm sound.

To cancel the two-wire upper floater connection and reset the Tamam device for surface pump operation, press both the green and red buttons together while powering on the Tamam device. In this case, only the middle LED (Tamam device alert lights) will light up with a continuous alarm sound.
