First: Connecting the Pump and Electricity:
Fixing the Tamam Device:
In this step, after selecting a suitable location and extending the floater and pump wires, we will fix the Tamam device on a stable wall, aligned with the user’s eye level or as desired. The device should be mounted horizontally, ensuring that the wires are positioned downward. The Tamam device is secured using two screws, which are fastened into the wall through the two side openings on the device.
Connecting the Tamam Device to the Pump:
In this step, after fixing the Tamam device in the appropriate location, we will connect the pump wires to the Tamam device. This is done by connecting the two pump wires to the blue wires on the Tamam device. It is preferable to connect the wires directly to the device without any intermediaries like switches or plugs. If intermediaries are present, ensure they are in excellent condition and that the connections are correct, with care taken not to tamper with them later.
Connecting the Tamam Device to the Electricity:
In this step, after fixing the Tamam device in the desired location and connecting the pump correctly, we will connect the Tamam device to the power supply. This is done by connecting the red wires of the Tamam device to the power source. It is important to ensure the presence of a double-pole switch (like a water heater switch) to turn the Tamam device on and off when necessary. Additionally, the power wires connected to the Tamam device should be independent and not linked to any other devices or connections.
Second: Operation
Operation for Network Connection:
If the Tamam device you selected is the Wi-Fi version, this step is required. First, supply power to the Tamam device, which will activate a Wi-Fi Access Point named (Aser_Tank_Monitor_V1.0) for thirty seconds. During this time, you can access the Wi-Fi settings of the Tamam device. To start the connection and configuration, connect to the Wi-Fi network named (Aser_Tank_Monitor_V1.0) from any computer or mobile device. Search for available networks, select (Aser_Tank_Monitor_V1.0), and connect to it. After connecting, go to the following URL in your browser: (http://192.168.4.1). A login window will appear for entering the settings. Enter the username (admin) and password (admin), then click (Login) at the bottom of the screen.
You will then access the Main window, the homepage, where the Wi-Fi Connection status will appear in red, indicating (Not Connected), meaning the device is not connected to Wi-Fi. Similarly, the Internet connection status will be displayed in red as (Not available), showing that the device is not connected to the internet. Now, go to the third option on the left side of the screen, (WiFi Client Settings). In this window, enter the name of the available Wi-Fi network (AP Name) and its password (AP Password), then click Save at the bottom left of the screen. At this point, the Tamam device will connect to the available Wi-Fi network. To confirm, return to the first option on the left side of the screen (Main). You should now see that the Tamam device is connected to Wi-Fi, with the connection status changed to (Connected) and the internet connection status changed to (Available), both displayed in green. This confirms that the Tamam device is now connected to the network.
Note: If the result does not appear, refresh the page and log back into the main menu. To reset or reconnect, restart the Tamam device to reactivate the Wi-Fi Access Point and access the settings again.
First-time Operation:
After assessing the status of the pipes and pump and ensuring all wires are connected to the Tamam device, proceed with the first-time operation. The Tamam device will start and run the pump for about a minute, regardless of the status of the roof tank. The pump will then stop, and the system setup signal will appear, indicated by the left, middle, and right LEDs (Tamam device alert lights) with an intermittent sound. This signal will last for thirty seconds. During this signal, press the green button for two seconds to initiate the system setup. The previous signal will disappear, and a new signal indicating the completion of the system setup will appear, with all three LEDs lighting up simultaneously and a continuous sound for two seconds. This confirms that the Tamam device has been set up and is operational.
If the pump is of the submersible type, configure the device to the submersible pump mode before entering the system setup mode. Refer to the key instructions for details on how to do this.
If the upper floater is connected with two wires, configure the device to the two-wire connection mode before entering the system setup mode. Refer to the key instructions for details on how to do this.
You can also configure both modes if needed. Refer to the key instructions for details on how to do this.
Congratulations on choosing Tamam.
App Integration:
Download the app from the official app store, and then register by entering the required data and verifying your account via mobile and email. The app’s main page will appear, where you will find an Add Device icon. When you press it, two options will appear to add the Tamam device: either by scanning the barcode to read the serial number or by manually entering the serial number. After entering the serial number of the Tamam device using either method, click on the Add icon. The Tamam device will then be added to the list of devices.
